WARRANTY & POST-SALES SUPPORT

All goods, whether purchased online or not, have a legal warranty of two years (under Decree-Law No. 67/2003 of 8 April, with changes introduced by Decree-Law No. 84/2008, May 21).



A product warranty covers only manufacturing defects: whether in material, production, or any other that proves its lack of conformity at the time of sale.




 Some specific products have an extended warranty period, the so-called commercial guarantee, which can go up to 10 years. If you purchase a product under these conditions, you will be given a guarantee certificate stating the period covered.





On which conditions am I entitled to the warranty?



 Whenever you notice a product's lack of conformity, you have 2 months to contact us through our Customer Support. Please note that it is mandatory to present proof of purchase.



Carpelshoponline will be responsible for the exchange, refund, or repair of the item in question, without any additional cost to the customer.



 Note, however, that in situations of continued use of an item, as long as it is possible and considered reasonable, we will give priority to repairing the product. For example, after 8 months of use, the stitching on the handle of a handbag is damaged due to continued use, if reparable it is not reasonable to demand the replacement of the asset.





In wich situations warranty is not appliable?



 The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage that may result from the following situations: wear and tear; accidental damage; negligence; exposure to extreme conditions (cold, heat); transport damage, please verify all your items when received, and if the content box is damaged contact us at once; exposure to acids, water, solvents or abrasives.


We also warn that improper repair or maintenance will void the warranty. 





Post-Sales Support:



 Carpel believes that a product's life cycle can and should be extended whenever possible. Extending the useful life of an article minimizes the socio-environmental impact and promotes its sustainability. Therefore, whenever we can repair any item, we will do it.



 To resolve any situation related to the assistance of a product you must contact our Customer Support



Note that there may be costs associated with the repair and transportation of the items that are being repaired. Only in case of assistance under the warranty, no additional costs will be charged.
