2. Object of the Contract:

The provisions set, aim to define the general sales parameters established between “Carpelshoponline” (or Us) and the User (or Client).

These provisions regulate the necessary steps for placing an order, payment, delivery conditions, as well as the various services provided by “Carpelshoponline”.

3. Registration, Agreement, Purchase order:

To place an order, the User must register on www.carpelshoponline.com and must provide certain personal data for this purpose, such as his name, telephone, address, taxpayer number, all mandatory fields must be complete.

Once the registration is complete, the chosen login and password will give you access to your client area whenever you need it. These data must not be provided to third parties, and it is your sole responsibility in their protection and use.

Only users who are of legal age can create an account on the website www.carpelshoponline.com.

The validation of an order on our Site implies that the Client is aware, and voluntarily accepts the conditions expressed in our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

a. Contents:

Although “Carpelshoponline” strives to ensure that the information presented on the Site is free from inaccuracies (typographical or otherwise) and whenever these occur, tries to correct them as soon as possible. If the ordered product or price does not correspond to the information provided, the Customer will be notified and will be entitled to cancel the order.

The contents generated for this Site provide visual support strictly for personal use, as such, they cannot be reproduced, manipulated, communicated, distributed for any commercial purpose without prior authorization.

We may, at any time, change the Site as well as the information contained therein.

The Site may provide links to third-party websites, but this does not mean that they adhere to the same security practices and policies, so any responsibility for their contents is rejected.

b. Prices:

Prices are displayed in euros and include VAT at the prevailing rate.

After submitting an order all prices will be confirmed. If an error is detected, either in the price of the products or in the shipping costs, the Customer will be informed of the event as soon as possible, and must then confirm the order with the updated price, or cancel its shipment.

If an order is canceled after payment has been made, the amount charged will be refunded in full using the same payment method.

c. Products:

The products available on the Site are limited to existing stock, if any ordered items are temporarily out of stock you will receive an email with that information.

Items that are out of stock will not be sent and the User may cancel them, in this situation please contact our Customer Support. In the case of non-cancellation, the product will be sent after the stock is replaced.

4. Payment methods:

We accept the following payment methods:

. ATM reference/Home Banking - Allows payment through the ATM network or through your Homebanking.

When finalizing your order, a “Multibanco” reference will be generated and provided to you. You can then make the payment in any ATM machine, select "Pagamento de Serviços / Service Payments" and introduce the given information (entity, reference and amount). As an alternative, you can pay the reference using online banking. Your order will be processed as soon as payment is confirmed;

. Payment by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) - All requested data must be completed. In case the payment platform informs about the non-acceptance of payment, your order will be automatically canceled;

. Paypal Payment - Paypal is widely used all around the world, and it is undoubtedly one of the safest methods of making payments online;

. MBway Payment- After choosing this method, you should indicate the telephone number associated to this app and follow the confirmation instructions;

5. Transport, Delivery & Shipping Costs:

The The delivery is made by a specialized transport company. Costs, delivery days and estimated deadlines, may vary depending on the destination area:

a) In mainland Portugal, orders will be delivered by DPD, from Monday to Friday until 6 pm.

Orders over € 49.90 are free of shipping costs. The others will be charged a shipping cost that may range between € 4.50 and € 6.60 (depending on the weight of the package).

b) Shipments to the Islands and the rest of the world are increased by shipping costs, automatically calculated in your shopping cart according to weight and cubicage.

c) Shipments to the Islands are provided by CTT Expresso (by boat), delivery times vary from island to island:

. Madeira - Estimated delivery time of 5 to 6 working days, after shipping;

. Madeira (Porto Santo) - Estimated delivery time of 6 to 7 working days, after shipping;

. São Miguel - Estimated delivery time of 6 to 9 working days, after shipping;

. Santa Maria and Terceira - Estimated delivery time of 7 to 10 working days, after shipping;

. Faial and Pico - Estimated delivery time of 7 to 12 working days, after shipping;

. Graciosa and S. Jorge - Estimated delivery time from 7 to 12 working days, after shipping;

. Corvo and Flores - Estimated delivery time from 8 to 15 working days, after shipping.

d) The customer will receive information on an estimated date for the delivery, if the transport company makes several unsuccessful delivery attempts, it will schedule a new delivery with the customer.

e) You must check that your delivery data are correct, if there are discrepancies between the address provided and the delivery address, that responsibility will fall on the Customer and additional costs may be charged.

f) If the object is returned for non-withdrawal and the customer does not intend to receive it, the cost of transportation will be deducted from the refund amount.

We try to do everything in our power to meet the stipulated delivery times, but we cannot guarantee this forecast. At specific times of the calendar (such as Christmas, Black Friday, Sales) delivery times may be longer than established.

6. Returns & Exchanges:

To return or exchange a product you must follow the steps outlined in our Returns & Exchanges.

7. Warranty & After-sales support:

All goods, whether purchased online or not, have a two-year legal guarantee (under Decree-Law No. 67/2003 of 8 April, with changes introduced by Decree-Law No. 84/2008, of 21 May). A product warranty covers only manufacturing defects: whether in material, production, or any other that proves its lack of conformity at the time of sale.

Some specific products have an extended warranty period, the so-called commercial warranty, which can go up to 11 years. If you purchase a product under these conditions, you will be given a guarantee certificate stating the period covered.

Please be aware that to be entitled to the guarantee conditions, it is essential to present proof of purchase and the guarantee certificate (the latter, only in cases where the guarantee is longer than 2 years).
